Hello all EARS members.  Our next meeting will be on September 20th, 2005 at the

Talbot 911 Center.  The meeting will start at 7 PM.

Please put on your calendar the BIG EAGLEMAN TRIATHLON in Dorchester Co will be on October 1st.  Mike, N3OUE will be the “man in charge”.

We want to discuss what should be done with our ham radio tower at the Red Cross and the equipment. There is also a nice heavy duty desk that the equipment that was on that is up for grabs.  Dan, KB3KXK and Lee, W3TMD have been to the Easton Red Cross and removed all the ham equipment and have it stored at Bob, W9GE’s barn. 

We have an interesting ARRL video that will be shown at the meeting. 

There has been a lot of ham tower work going on this month in Talbot County: 

Bob, W9GE has put up a new 60’ Rohn 25 tower with a Force 12  hf yagi. 

Owen, K3CB has his two foundations for his two new motorized crank up towers and his new ham shack almost finished. 

Tinsley, K3RUQ has his Rohn SSV tower moved from his old house to his new Trappe QTH, and  has the concrete foundation done and is waiting for it to cure. 

Owen, K3CB/ K8GP and Marty, W3YOZ/ W3SO have been in the big VHF contest, one in WV and one in Altoona, PA,both on mountain tops. 

Allan, N5LKJ is back with us after his big van trip to Texas and California. 

Peter, K3PKC is back with us, and has a new 42’ motor yacht he is working on
