Our next EARS meeting will be on Tuesday March 21st, 7 PM at the Talbot 911 Center in Easton.

We will have two short guest speakers. John, K8JW is going to give a talk and demonstration of his commercial antenna analyzer, and Tinsley, K3RUQ is going to give a talk and slide show on radio towers.

The club would like to thank John, K3OLE, Lee, W3TMD, and Jim, W3JAL for teaching the element 2 technician classes at the Mears Marina at Kent Island. The classes started on March 6th and will continue for a total of 6 Monday nights. The classes are being attended by 9 boy scouts ages 10-16 years old and 5 adults. The students are from the Queen Anne's and Caroline County areas. The boy scouts are using this course to help with their radio merit badge and also to become new hams.

By the time we have our March EARS meeting a lot of antenna work should be completed at W9GE's and K3CB's.

Owen is working on getting his two towers outfitted with antennas, and Bob is installing rotating rings on his towers and putting up new antennas this week.

Our last meeting was very interesting and I think everyone enjoyed the talk and power point show that Rick, W2GPS put on for us about amateur satellite communication.

Please remember to check into the EARS net each week on Tuesday evening at 7 PM on 147.045.
